Event Description
Embarking on a mesmerising visual journey, this hyperlapse traverses the 145km Canberra Centenary Trail.
The project represents a stunning amalgamation of artistry and cutting-edge technology, granting viewers an immersive experience akin to hiking the trail themselves, whilst revealing the diverse beauty of Canberra throughout the four seasons.
The creator, David Fanner has utilised an array of state-of-the-art creative technologies to produce the seven-minute video. Through the latest 360º cameras, aerial cinematography, and the use of AI-powered neural radiance fields to reconstruct 3D environments, the view is offered a truly immersive, multidimensional perspective of the trail. Not just a linear journey, the video illustrates the fluid, fluctuating relationship between the long-distance hiker and the environment as they navigate its various terrains and weather conditions.
