Event Description

This mini-symposium, hosted by the University of Canberra’s Centre for Creative and Cultural Research and presented in collaboration with the Uncharted Territory Innovation Festival, will explore innovation in poetry, cross-disciplinary approaches, and how poetry can offer new ways of seeing and thinking, whatever your discipline.

The symposium will include flash presentations by: Sarah-Jane Burton (ANU), Dianne Firth (UC), Xavier Hennekinne (Gazebo Books), Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello, Dr Russell Smith (ANU), Shehzad Hathi and more.

After the symposium, come along to the Poetry Innovation Salon, to digest and discuss the symposium presentations, and try out some poetic tactics and strategies.
