Stars in 3D is an exquisite experience of immersive beauty – visuals, movement and music, founded in extraordinary science and technical skills and presented by women of all abilities.

Sit back and experience world class simulations of the universe projected across the walls of a black box theatre as 12 dancers respond to the visuals and music. A celebration of the universe from chromosomes to mapping the galaxy. The very essence of humanity explored within stunning visualisations of the universe featuring the music, movement and technology.

There will be two Virtual Reality films premiered and each patron provided with their own set of VR glasses to view them and take home.

Stars in 3D is the premier season of the Chamaeleon Collective, Canberra’s first inclusive dance company who are joined by 6 professional dancers, including award winning Director Liz Lea, ACT Artist of the Year.

Presented by The Stellar Company in collaboration with ASTRO 3D, RecoveryVR and QL2 Dance as part of the Uncharted Festival.

About the Chamaeleon Collective

Chamaeleon are Canberra’s first inclusive dance company, creating works at the cutting edge of science and technology. Named after the constellation and reptile, both constant and adaptable, Chamaeleon is a collective of artists living with disability who are taking the next step into professional practice. They epitomise a forward looking, inclusive Canberra.
