Event Description

The Waves is an experimental video work collaboration between artist Emma McManus, and her brother, physicist and academic David McManus.

Edited by Hannah de Feyter, this intimate autofiction juxtaposes larger scientific, literary and queer histories with personal family narratives and asks questions about erasure and how we might write into the past to imagine a more just and gentle future.

Content warning; this work contains mention of suicide, depression, accidental death, fire and adult themes. If you or anyone you know are struggling, please reach out to lifeline on 13 11 14.
